New Year Day at Temple

All of the pictures were taken from the Thean Hou Temple.
In the first picture I am sitting in front of the dragon. I am a fire dragon that means that I need to be balanced with water, and I get very hot if I do not have water.

In the next picture I am holding one of the many turtles of the next photo. And last but not the least the people that are cooking the vegetarian food that we ate.

A lot of people go to the temple to pray for good health and wealth, right at the starting of the new year. It is traditional for Hainanese family's like ours to go to this temple every new years day as the temple is supported by the Hainanese association.
