The main feature of this mansion is that it is blue.
The mansion built by the merchant Cheong Fatt Tze at the end of 19th century has 38 rooms, 5 granite-paved courtyards, 7 staircases & 220 windows.
But unfortunately the tour that we went on was very boring. They did not even let you take any pictures inside of the mansion!
The site of the house was chosen because it had a lot of lotus on the land. Lotus flower has special significance in Chinese culture. Now, the only lotuses are found in flower pots.
